Sports Management Intern:

Job Description:

  • Coordinating administrative details of sports leagues
  • Planning, coordinating, and managing events

Marketing & Event Management Interns

Job Description:

  • Marketing - Our marketing interns will work closely with the Marketing Manager to complete a number of tasks. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, creating Facebook ads, preparing social media posts, promoting at festivals, preparing emails to be sent out, posting upcoming events to event sites, various sorts of research, completing flyer campaigns, etc.

These internships are designed to help degree candidates fulfill curriculum requirements. All applicants must:

  • Be actively enrolled at an accredited university (in-state or out-of-state)
  • Be available a minimum of 15 hours in office and minimum 10 hours on site at leagues and events
  • Have a reliable form of transportation and Driver’s License.
  • Be outgoing and able to socialize with others in unfamiliar environments
  • Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office platforms such as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Have a basic understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and SnapChat

 

Each week, the first fifteen (15) office hours are unpaid and are logged towards degree/curriculum satisfaction. All subsequent office hours will be paid. This position also comes with a minimum of 10 hours per week working on site at leagues and events, as well as on the promotions team. These hours are all paid.
